    Lightbulb programmed drop down list

    Looking for someone to guide us in the right direction. We are looking to create a programmed drop down list that we can inbed into a cell. For example, you select an item in the drop down list and then it automatically fills another cell with information we program it to point to.

    In this spreadsheet there are up to (5) phone #s per contact person. There is a data validation list set up for each phone #. As per the image below. The default value of data validation is “No Attempt made”. Looking for a way to automatically set the value of the disposition to “# Not Available” in column U if the cell in column S is blank.

    OtreborJC and I have been trying to figure this out, just haven't been able to get anything working yet. So figure it could be done in VBA

    The only reason why I am recommending VBA is because we need to lock in the functionality of the drop down list and we also need to give it the power to automatically populate other cells...
