Hi. I need to create a formula where I say sum down a column until it finds the next "HEADER" entry in another column.

    i.e.

    HEADER 5
    Bob 2
    Jane
    Peter 3
    Sue
    HEADER 1
    Alan
    Dave 1
    HEADER

    In a new column try:

    =IF(A1="Header",SUM(B2:INDEX($B2:$B$9,MATCH("Header",$A2:$A$9,0)-1)),"")

Copied down..... assuming data is in A1:B9, adjust as necessary.
