Searching a method to store date range

I have a table with the column headings ‘From Date’, ‘To Date’ and ‘Amount’ besides several others.

I’m looking for a way to get this date range (‘From Date’, ‘To Date’) to show up in the pivot table as rows.

As I crude workaround I have created a column that Concatenates these two cells.

Would appreciate if anyone can throw light on the best way to achieve this. Also if there is a better practice to store date ranges.

It would be very helpful if you uploaded to this site a sample workbook showing a before and after scenario. Make sure that there is enough data to represent your actual data file.
