Hello,

I am needing some help and don't have the experience to understand how to go about it. I have attached a file in which i received product from vendors and i am hoping to have each value spent on that vendor (VENDOR LOG) summed under each month in another tab(SPEND CAD). I have been told to use "SUMIFS" or "ARRAY" but nothing has worked thus far... any help is appreciated!!

HI and welcome
I could not find any formula in your sheet to see what went wrong.
Why not use a Pivot Table after getting rid of merged cells in rows 8 and 9

If you aren't a fan of Pivot Tables, the SUMIFS function can do it as below:
=SUMIFS('VENDOR LOG'!$B$2:$B$20,'VENDOR LOG'!$A$2:$A$20,B$1,'VENDOR LOG'!$C$2:$C$20,$A2)

Enter in A2, and copy across and down. You will need to add November to your list if you want it to include everything.

Thank you!!

i removed my merged cells and now the SUMIFS formula is working.. Thanks all for your help!

Enter in B2, and copy across and down. You will need to add November to your list if you want it to include everything.

Sorry - there was a typo in my last sentence (post #3). It should read as above in red.
