    Hi All,

I've created a roster for about 30 employees. It is designed it for this month and has every employee's name on it. Every date is recorded with Either Present or Absent or Offs. However, I'm unable to come up with a formula as to count how many days was one particular employee present.

I've attached a screenshot for you guys to understand, if I'm confusing you.Click image for larger version.

    Hi Delroy Bosco...

you can use the COUNTIF() function for getting the number number of cells within a range
that meet a single criterion that you specify. Example =COUNTIF(C16:C32;"Present")

    Regards :-)
