I am having a problem when I format the Fill of the Plot Area on my chart. I am filling the aea with an image from a file. I am using the following to get the image in the plot area
Fill
Picture or texture fill
Insert picture from [File...]
If the picture is small enough, <1000 kb, it shows up fine. If the picture is too large, >1000 kb, excel reduces the dpi and the image begins to blur. The bigger the file the more blurry the image.
Under Options>Advanced
I have the Do not compress image in file checked
Default resolution is set to [High fidelity]
Does anyone know of a way to prevent Excel from reducing the resolution of the image?
Thanks
Rick
