Problem with text to excel

Hello Everyone,

I have a quick question; Everytime I same my report as a text and open it in excel the data changes and I loose 400 records. Have anyone ever seen this happening? I am not touching the data in the texgt file or in the exel file. Any advice would help......

I can't say that I've seen this before, no. How many records are in the Excel file? And how are you saving it? Manually, VBA, or something else? Is it possible that something else is writing to this file as well?

long time back the same sort of thing happened with me as well but it removed on its own. i mean i didn't do anything, after a week i guess when i was doing some work i noticed the issue has vanished. don't know how but it happened to me. it all came into my mind while i was reading you question, i felt i should also share my experience..
