[h=2]determine Y value on graph from intersection of x value with a series value[/h]
Good Day
using the slope and intercept formula followed by trend I am able to with a semi successful result plot where the x value (weight) will intercept with the series line (40) giving me the y value result (height)
unfortunately i need it to be more accurate.
As you can see from the attached example Jpeg
If I were to manually plot the weight 1300 (x) with the temp (40) i come to a y value of 5800ft (eg1) and if I were to plot the x value of 1350 to the temp (40) I receive a resultant y value of 3050ft (eg2)
How can I obtain a more accurate result over the entire temperature range of -20 to +40
Attached is a copy of my excel workbook
