Power BI Nesting Hierarchy Indicator to Match Power Pivot

hi,
we have a client that is accustomed to seeing hierarchy nesting in Power Pivot using Excel that looks and behaves like this:

Specifically, they love the plus/minus expand/collapse functionality.


We are now moving to Power BI which has a different philosophy when it comes to navigating a hierarchy. However, my client really likes the plus/minus paradigm in Power Query. Has anyone ever run across this before and come up with a workaround?

Not sure this is quite what you had in mind, I get the +/-, use it a fair amount in pivot tables. Have not seen it within PBI however using a matrix maybe a workaround/1, using the drill down mini icon/2, will give you a layout of/3(which can go down 10+ levels if required), that you can navigate using arrows/4 or perhaps just interrogate it with use of slicer/5 or a visual representation/6.
