Fill data with month

Dear All ,

i want to fill A1:A1000 with month like this from A1:A30 with JAN-2015 ,A31:A60 with Feb-2015 and so on ------

is there any quick way to fill data quickly

Do you really want 30 rows for each date, or do you want the correct number of rows for the number of days in the month?

In A1, type 01/01/2015 and drag fill down as far as you need, then select the whole of column A and custom format it as a date thus: mmm-yyyy
 
A1 =DATE(2015,1,0)+ROW(A1) then copy down, if you change 2015 to 2008, you will see 29 in Deb-2008.
