    Instead of toggling, won't this work:
    Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
    [rngPrintMode] = "True"
    ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.PrintOut Copies:=1, Collate:=True, _
    IgnorePrintAreas:=False
    [rngPrintMode] = "False"
    Cancel = True
    End Sub
