I have two workbooks with different processes, but using some of the same data. I'm using power query to pull in the data and I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to connect to the data model or power queries from a second workbook. I don't want to use two queries, one in each workbook, because I want to ensure the data is the same. Is there any way of doing this?

If the workbook is published to Sharepoint I believe you can. Alternately, you can publish the workbook to (for free). That essentially turns your workbook into an Analysis Services server that you can connect to from Excel.
