Hi Guys,

I am quite new to VBA but am a quick learner what I am looking for her is just:

a) some validation on what I am trying to do is possible
b) Some guidance on how to best go about it.

Basically what I am trying to do is build a price database of J-34 cotton from the webpage http://www.caionline.in/spot_rates.asp since inception.

my two initial thoughts were

  1. run a webquery for the whole price table then sort the data using another macro which would require it navigating the drop down menu

    or

  1. Querying the database directly (if this is possible)
What would you guys advise ?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in Advance

TWco !

I doubt that you'll be able to get access to the database directly, unless you can find the information you need at Windows Azure data market. So that pretty much means you need to go with option 1.

Seriously... you want to go back to Feb 1, 2001?
