I am new to VBA but have managed to work out a bookkeeping system in excel. I am using 2003. I have created a User Form to enter data, but I cannot work out a code to, link an Expense amount to a specific column. i.e. If I spend $100 on advertising, then I wish that amount to go into the Category "Advertising" column. My user form has Date, Source, Amount and a combo box to select the correct category. So far I have worked it out that the category will appear in a single column but that will not work with my system. Any help would be most appreciated.
