    Good day

If I have a ID number:
    5702035047089

    I used the following code:

    =DATE(LEFT(D2,2),MID(D2,3,2),MID(D2,5,2))

When I sort, it sorts according to the year and not day and month

What can I use so it sorts as follow
    1Jan
    4Feb
    38Apr etc

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Hannes

Can you put here the example of your file.
Fictional data (several items in the example) and the desired results in a some column

Attention! In the formulas as a delimiter I use a semicolon (; ) if you using my formula, then perhaps you need to use a comma (,)
Also for a decimal number I use a comma (,) you may need to use point (.) instead of

You can add a auxiliary column.
Set this formula and copy to the last row.
    Code:
    =CONCATENATE(LEFT(D2;2);MID(D2;3;2);MID(D2;5;2))
Sorting make clicking the arrow in the header helper column (sort A-Z)
