    Hi,

I am not a pro at excel and I was looking for some help/advice. I have a table in my sql server which gets updated with the usage (of tables) figures every week. The data gets copied to the excel file.

I was wondering if there is a way to return the increase in usage percentage of all the columns for every week compared to the last week.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

I transformed the table then analyzed the new one with pivot table.

    Hope that will help you.

    Good luck

    Hi,

In my example, I used Power Query (if you know this add-in, I advise to use it).

You have to add your data to the table 1 (use it as an Excel table) then update the table 2 (this table was created by using the function UNPIVOT in Power Query) and the pivot table.

    Hope that will help you.

    Good luck

    Hi,

I have downloaded power query but i cant get around it because i have never used it before. If you have team viewer would you mind logging on my machine and show me how you have created the table and pulled the data into pivot.

    Thanks
