Hey all, first time posting here because I got stopped in my tracks in excel.

What I'm trying for:

I have a drop down list people (Data on Sheet#2) and I would like to keep a running total every time these people are selected under the drop down list for the type they were selected for.

Example: Everytime S12 is selected in the drop down list under Daily Assignments for "First Floor", it puts a count on the right side for S12 "First floor" as 1. If it were selected again via drop down list, count would then be 2. Thus, creating a history of counts for S12 on first floor.
This would need to stay true for first floor, creek, sweep, check, hotel, clean for said drop down list of say, 45 people.

I attempted many functions but at this point I'm not even sure if that is the correct way to go about this.
