Stop other users changing the filter row

A couple of times recently I have had problems with other users removing the filter on my workbook an then after re-instating it not including all columns.
This has meant that when the filter is run the data is then out of sync.
Is there a way of stopping other users from switching the filter off,but them still being able to use the filter functionality?

Password protect the workbook and then the areas of the worksheets that apply..........
