Hi! This is my first message in the forum and Im very glad to join you all.

    My question is the following:

    Sheet 1:

    1. I have a translation sheet for translating words into different languages:

    A B C
    1 Position Spanish English
    2 BSE7 Activo Assets

    2. I have named the range B2:C2 with the name "BSE7"

    Sheet 2:

    A B
    1 Position Header
2 BSE7 =+INDEX(BSE7;CEL_IDIOMAS) - Cell "B2" will show "Activo" if I select Spanish language and "Assets" if I select English language.

    Mi question is the following:

If I reference the formula INDEX to cell "A2", Sheet2, it ill says =+INDEX(A2;CEL_IDIOMAS) and it wont work

Is it possible to reference the formula INDEX to cell "A2" and not obtain the position of the cell (A2), but the value of the cell = BSE7?

It will help me too much.

    Thanks in advance!

It is not quite clear to me what you are trying to do.
You could post a sample sheet ( pics are useless) showing what you have and what you want to do.
Also note that the + sign before a function is unnecessary ( remnants from Lotus?)

Is the BSE7 Named Range covering B25 only or B25:C25? It should be the latter.

    So =INDEX(B25:C25;CEL_IDIOMAS)
