Hell, Glad of some help on conditional formatting, is there a way of getting a whole row to turn red, when one of the cells has A, would turn green, B would turn Amber, and C would turn red?

Just add a CF formula of

=COUNTIF(5:5,"A")

and set the format fill colour.

Similar formulas for B and C.

Hello Bob, thanks for that, what is the 5:5 referring too? I tried that, but only the cell with A,B,C in turns he relevant colour, is there a way I can get the whole row to change colour when the one cell has the letter in?
