Hello,

My excel file consists of different columns with information. One column only consists of statements from subjects. Due to different meanings in one statement, we need to divide some of those statements so that we need to divide one row in for example 2 rows. Here is an example:
Original version:

Column A Column B
Speaker 1 Hello, my name is speaker one. What is you name?
Speaker 2 My name is speaker 2

Version we strive for:
Column A Column B
Speaker 1 Hello, my name is speaker one.
Speaker 1 What is your name?
Speaker 2 My name is speaker 2

One problem is, that I would need to create a new row in the second version without overwriting the next row.

I know this is possible using the text to column function and then copy the columns into rows. Since we have 8000 statements, this would be too labor intensive. I hope someone has a great idea how to do that in a few steps. This would be so great and would save us a lot of time! So thank you very much in advance!

Martin
