Hi All!
Could really use some help with this one. Have searched for several days -- with no success - maybe just using the wrong search terms.
THANKS in advance.
What I'd like to accomplish is this:
I have a commercial Excel (2010) add-in (not mine) - I do not want to modify its code directly (it is PW protected). The add-in creates a custom tab with one of the buttons performing a data refresh against a data source - refreshing either all worksheets or just the active worksheet. (I do have access to the button Ids)
When that button is pushed - I'd like to trigger a macro that does the following:
1. If refresh all sheets is clicked -- I'd like to capture the date and time it was clicked - on sheet1 - lets say cell A1
2. If refresh is clicked - I'd like to capture the date and time it was clicked on the active sheet - again lets say cell A1
In short - I am trying to timestamp the refresh action.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
