Hi guys,
I searched as best I could, but was unable to find what I was looking for in past posts.

I want to use combinations of colored bands to uniquely mark birds so they can be identified from a distance. I have the following colors: Blue, Black, Green, Yellow, White. I can put four bands on each bird (2 per leg), so I would have the following possible locations: top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right. Additionally, there is also an aluminum (silver) band that each bird MUST get.

So, essentially, I have four spots, one of which must be occupied by one (and only one) silver band. The other three spots all must be filled with a color. Colors can be repeated (i.e. top left: yellow, bottom left: silver, top right: yellow, bottom right: yellow would be a possible combination).

Is there a way I can get excel to generate all these combinations in a spreadsheet with four columns (top left/bottom left/top right/bottom right) with each row an individual, and each cell filled with a color?

Thank you very much for any help!

Take a look at my attachment. Does that work for you?
