I have an excel file used as a template that is saved out on a server. This template has some base files that it pulls data from. The base files are updated periodically as needed. The problem I have is that when the template is used and saved (other locations on the same server) it is not always picking up new data added to the base files. Is there a simple way to correct this, or do I need to update the links every time a saved version of the template is opened? If it matters, once a copy of the template is saved on the server, that file is copied on a recurring basis (every month - in the same folder) so that each proceeding version is an addition to the previous. I can provide additional details, but I wasn't really sure what questions to ask and didn't want to clog this up with unnecessary information.
