Item order within its area

Hello everybody! o/

I'm trying to figure out a way to create a column with the value of the item considering its "area" (the image can explain what this 'area' means for), from a pivot table, in this format:


The column; What it REALLY means (the order)
1.1.1 - 1st area; 1st state of 1st area; 1st unitsSold of 1st state of 1st area
1.1.2 - 1st area; 1st state of 1st area; 2nd unitsSold of 1st state of 1st area
1.2.1 - 1st area; 2nd state of 1st area; 1st unitsSold of 2nd state of 1st area
1.3.1 - 1st area; 3rd state of 1st area; 1st unitsSold of 3rd state of 1st area
1.3.2 - 1st area; 3rd state of 1st area; 2nd unitsSold of 3rd state of 1st area
1.3.3 - 1st area; 3rd state of 1st area; 3rd unitsSold of 3rd state of 1st area

Some of you have already stuck with something like this?

I have already tried a lot o COUNTIF like, but none of them solved; some got really close!

Please explain in words how you get from 'What I have' to 'What I need', as it is beyond my Ken.
 
I finally got the answer in another forum,

You can see the formulas on the sheet below (its not so complicated by the way)

So you were posting elsewhere as well, glad we didn't waste time trying to solve it for you.

As for the solution, the data doesn't look anything like what you posted here, no wonder we didn't understand. I can't believe they used SUM(G1,1)!

They used a simple formula, understood what I told, and here is the solution!

I take it personally that you cross-post and don't tell us so that we waste time trying to help when I wouldn't have bothered if I had known you were cross-posting. Being free does not give you the right to abuse.

I'm really sorry for that, maybe I'm new here and made a mistake. My intention was to reach as many people as possible and share the solution (as I did here) to everyone.

Is there a way to put "[SOLVED]" in this thread?

Usually the foruns tools offers it at the "Thread Tools" up there button..... This forum seems to not have it....

This forum does not have that tool in effect. You can simply leave it alone, or edit the title to show the SOLVED indication.
