    Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me write something to create a popup message when one cell minus another is greater then 5. This would also need to loop as i have a large amount of data. So for example, I'm running numbers two independent ways. The numbers can be slightly different due to rounding but the difference certainly shouldnt be greater then 5.

So cell AN1=AL1-AM1 and AN1 needs a popup if it's greater then 5. I need the same thing for AN2,AN3, etc.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

I hope you can opt the data validation functionality for this , in which you can define your own way to check for the certain condition by selecting the custom option.

    regards
