Dear Community,
I'm facing the following problem:
My macro copies selected sheets from the active workbook and merges them into a new book as a single sheet. In the active workbook each sheet had a subsequent number in cell A1 and I would like to keep a continuig numbering in the first cell of the merged paragraphs (which used to be cell A1 in the active book). There should be no interruption in the numbering even if not all sheets have been copied from the active workbook.
To illustrate the problem I attached a picture of the current layout of the merged sheet:

As you can see, the required numbering would be insterted in cells A2, A12, A20, A25 etc.
Your help would be very much appreciated!
