I am in the real estate industry and I am trying to figure out the formula to determine the amount of total sales volume needed to reach our company cap. The following variables are consistent:
Company Cap amount of $36,000
Commission% of Sales Volume is 2.5% (which equates to Gross Commission Income or CI)

The Variable that changes is % of Gross Commission Income paid to the company which could be anywhere from 30% to 1%.

For example, it takes $4,800,000 in Sales Volume to reach the $36,000 Company Cap ($4,800000 Sales Volume * 2.5% Commission% = $120,000 Gross Commission Income * 30% Split Paid to the Company = $36,000 Company Cap.

What equation do I use in Excel 2013 to determine how much total Sales Volume it will take to reach our Company Cap of $36,000 with Commission Splits of 29% down to 1% paid to the office?
(Total Sales Volume *2.5%=Gross Commission Income)*Commission Split% with office= $36,000

Any help would be most appreciated...many thanks!

Just use this:
=36000/A1/0.025 where column A is where the rate (1% to 30%) is. Then just drag to A30.
