Hyperlink in formula

Hello!

Question for anyone who wishes to help out. This one's a doozy.

Let's say cell A1 has a hyperlink linking that cell to another document.

Now, is it possible to have a formula in another cell link back to that document using that hyperlink. I want to be able to hyperlink cell A1 and have all of the formula cells populate automatically. The formulas are linking to specific cells in the linked document.

I hope I explained this correctly.
