recently I have accidentally deleted the data source tab related to a Pivot table, in the same file.
Double clicking on one cell in the pivot table still causes opening up a new excel sheet with the detailed information from the data source. But refreshing the pivot table is not possible, an error message pops up 'cannot open the data source file'. HOW ON EARTH IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Can I restore the deleted data source sheet, although the file was saved after deletion?
Thanks in advance for any help or clarification.
P.S. I do have a file version from before the updates, but I changed a lot and really don't want to have to do that update work on the data source sheet again because I lost it...
