Keeping paragraph format in text box (Excel 2013) when sheet is protected?

I am looking for help with a problem I have using Excel 2013 I am creating a Field Report for use by my external sales team, and want to allow them to enter the details on the form and everything is fine, with drop down menus and other aspects which all work when I protect the sheet. I have allowed the sales team to enter values in 'unlocked' cells as well as edit 'objects' which is fine other than the text box I inserted to allow them the space to write their reports does not allow the text to paragraph and when the 'enter' key is used it takes the user to the next cell! Help please!!!!!!!
