Control
9.25
10.34
25.19
0.10 %
10.24

21.94

27.23
37.44

0.25 %
22.04
31.76
40.14
CD at 5%: Plant growth Stages: 0.021, Treatments: 0.027, Treatment x Growth Stages: 0.047

i want to know how is this C.D at 5% calculated in excel for Plant growth Stages, Treatments and Treatment x Growth Stages as has been calculated in the above example..
Looking forward for your help

N805.3286.1817.0847.054
N1206.4026.9578.5587.059
Consider the above table we have factors N(Nitrogen) and K (Potassium) the interaction of different levels (0,40,80, 120) of which we want to check.. we do a two factor ANOVA whose results are as
S.of Vari.dfSSMSSF. valueSignificance
Potassium316.2253475.408449285762.338**
Nitrogen329.1258179.708606512966.623**
Interaction93.8719000.43021122730.757**
Error300.0005680.000019
upto here it is clear to me but the table has an additional bit of stat which is
C.D. at 5%
Potassium0.00363
Nitrogen0.00363
Interaction0.00725
this is the part that i am not able to do.. i want to know how this C.D. at 5% is calculated

Hope you understand now

The spreadsheet looks like its calculations have been pasted as values from another source, which means that it won't be any help unless the user understands the elements of the calculations, and all the variables used are in the sheet (there is no guarantee of this when calculation results are pasted as values). Can you not go back to the source of this data and get an explanation or better still a copy of the calculations from there?
