Hello all,

I am working on a summary of all the open jobs that my company currently has. There is a 'days open' column and I would like to create a seperate report that gives me a summary of the number of jobs that have been open by number of days based off a given range.

For example:

I would like to create a series of ranges that jobs would fall in to for how long they have been open. My ranges are:
  • >1yr
  • 1 yr>x>180days
  • 180days>x>90days
  • 90days>x>60 days
  • 60days>x>30 days
  • 30days>x

The final addition is the percentage of open jobs that falls into each range which I can easily figure out. The issue I am having is figuring out the formula to type in the cell in order to create a count of jobs that fall into the given ranges.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Looks awesome, this is essentailly exactly what I am looking for. I am very new to pivot tables, my first question that comes to mind is how you got the ranges of dates you desired to autocalculate? Where do you input the list of ranges that you would like so it autocounts them? I really appreciate you posting this!

Thank you very much for your help, it is truly appreciated!
