I have a sheet that has static data in row1 and column 1. They are times across the top and dates down the side. Then starting at cell A2 my data begins. I have made a simple bar chart that charts my data for me. The problem I'm having is that I have a macro on a home tab that inserts a new row at the top of my data and shifts everything down. I'm looking at the newest data (8 rows worth) but when I insert a new row, the chart's data range shifts down as well. How can I prevent it from shifting the range ? I am completely stumped. Here is a sample of my data. When I chart it I get the times across the bottom, multiple bars in each time field, and then the series labeled on the right side of What color represents each day.

You can set up a dynamic range that adjusts to always point to the first 8 rows. Do you still need help with this?

Depending on your Excel version you might be able to format the data as a Table (or List if prior to Excel 2007)
