Hi,
I'm trying to make a Gantt chart using Excel. I was able to create one but it's not displaying correctly. The task bars should be butted up against each without spaces between them. In other words the end date of one task is the start date of the next one. The data driving the chart is set up like that, but for some reason the bars don't go far enough over to the beginning of the next task. How do I get rid of these spaces?
I'm also attaching the excel file itself.

Hmmm. It opens nicely on my system. Here it is again.
3/5/2013 + 20 days is 3/25/2013 and will not correspond to the next start of 4/2/2013. You are mixing workdays and regular days, so the weekends are being ignored for your start dates, but not for the total days...
If you want them to correspond, you might need to adjust column E formula to: =WORKDAY(B7,D7*5)-B7 so that you get 28 full days... and will buy up to 4/2/2013 start of next task.
Excel 2010, Table, PivotTable, PivotChart
With Gantt Chart
With modified Workday() formula.
Ditto NBVC.

If you get *.zip, don't unzip, just rename *.xlsx
