sorting Report Filter Drop-Down

Hello all,
I have a pivot table whose data is retrieved from a database. I want to have its report filter drop-down sorted in ascending order. I searched for it on the internet and found that we can sort the Report Filter drop-down by moving the Report Filter field to Row Lables section, sorting that field in Row Label section, saving, refreshing and restoring the field back to Report Filter section .

But in my case, when I try to move Report Filter to Row Labels, I get an error saying "a pivot table report can not overlap another pivot table report."
How should I go about it?

Sounds like you have two pivots are they are very close. When you try to move the Report Filter, which is one line, to Row Labels, it will need many lines, and if that will overlap another pivot you get that message.
