Hi,

I come back with a new topic.
I would like to follow up on the equipment in progress

When a equipment is put into service, it shall be removed within the month concerned.
There is also new equipment that can be Added

I have combined all the files in the monthly folder and I would like to add 2 new columns in Power Query: "Creation Date" and "Delete Date" with respectively their date

Please, how to automate these 2 columns with Power Query?

For information, the yellow lines in the monthly files correspond to deletions compared to the following month.
Lines in green correspond to creations compared to the previous month.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi,
I come back on this thread that is apparently complicate or impossible !
Isn't there a Ken Puls, Bill Szysz or a Bill Gates in power query ?;)

I know that it's complicated.
Do you think I should ask on the VBA side instead ?

And sorry for the mistake in the title (rowq instead of rows), I think I can't change it anymore.

Thanks in advance

I think you need to be patient. I also think you need to provide a SMALL sample file instead of one that requires zipping.

Hi AliGW,
Thank you for your answer, I am a very patient person.

Sorry, your request does not seem relevant to me, it's as if you wanted me to submit a less difficult problem.
Easy problems with a SMALL file, I know how to solve them.:)

Edit : thanks to the person who corrected the mistake in the title of the thread

Thanks anyway.

That person was me.

There really is no need to be sarcastic. Big problems can be solved using small subsets of data. There is rarely any need to supply the entire project.

I won’t be unzipping your file to have a look - sorry. Quite a few members may well feel the same because of the potential for malicious content. But it’s up to you. If you won’t take advice, that’s fine.

AliGW,

Thank you for changing the title
I'm a very respectful person, I didn't mean to offend anyone…:)

it won't reflect reality if I produce a single file and I may not be able to adapt the M code to my file
But maybe it's my explanations that are unclear.

Actually I don't speak English and I do Deepl translation.

Have a nice day.

Hi,
this time I transmit a single file in the hope of simplifying the request.
Is it possible with Power query to get the result of the "PQ_Summary" sheet ?

Cells in yellow correspond to line deletions on the dates indicated
And the green cells are the new lines with their date…

Thank you in advance
