I'm having a closed bid auto auction for many vehicles.
I will give each vehicle a separate row with a starting bid price in cell "A"
I will then enter the bids for each vehicle as they come in in cell "B"
If cell be is higher in value than cell "A," I want cell "A" to increase to the value of Cell "B"
I need the formula to accomplish this

You can’t do this with a formula - not in the way you are describing. You can’t enter a value into A and it suddenly turn into a formula. You will need VBA.
