Hi,

Hope this makes sense, Im trying to make it easier for everyone here by making it visually easy to see if a cell that is part of a calculation is missed

in a spreadsheet, I have cell A,1 ( product name) this is from a drop down box
B,1 (total client has ordered) is entered by sales rep
C,1 ( pack size) entered by sales rep
G,1 ( total value of order) automatic formula in this cell

What I would like to happen is if the sales rep enders a value in A,1 and misses entering info into either B,1 or C,1 then G,1 will end up having a background colour to signal that data is missing

Can anyone please tell me if this is possible and or how to achieve this

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi
try a condtional formatting of cell G1 ( or the range starting in G1) with a condition like =AND(A1<>"",OR(b1="",C1="")) and format as required

Works perfectly, thank you very much
