Hi gurus!
Hope you are all well, I'm looking to help identifying levels from the CEO in data set, wondering if I could get some help on a formula I can use or what would be the best way to determine this without going manually. I've attached my sample data, I'm essentially trying to determine values in Column F (Levels from CEO)

CEO being 0 or CEO the top of the hierarchy, then their direct reports should be -1, then the direct reports of the CEO's direct reports would then be -2 and so on. If anyone can help me with this would be amazing!!!!!!!!!

Try this

=IFERROR(INDEX($F$2:$F$12,MATCH(E2,$B$2:$B$11,0))-1,0)

Try this

=IFERROR(INDEX($F$2:$F$12,MATCH(E2,$B$2:$B$11,0))-1,0)
Hi Bob, thanks for sending that through, the results in column F is actually what I'm trying to get, so the source data I have will only be column A through to E, and Column F is what I need to be able to to work out based on data in column A to E is that makes a little more sense?

Hi and welcome
Please,do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).
If you have fewer than 10 posts here, you will not be able to post a link, but you must still tell us where else you have asked the question

Do not post any further responses in this thread until a link has been provided to these cross posts.
