sort data alphabetically when the data is letters and letters with an asterisk

Hello,

I have an excel sheet that has a column containing numbers and letters. The letters are plain jane letters and letters with an asterisk (ex. A, B, A*, B*). I need to have the letters sort alphabetically (A,B,C) but the letters that have the asterisk with them need to be alphabetically as well but after the main letter Z (ex. A, B, C...Z. A*, B*, C*).

Any thoughts on how to do this?
