Lightbulb Reversal of Power Query Process

    Hi all,

I have a Power Query process that pulls data from 13 different worksheets of non-standard data on a workbook. There are roughly 30 queries involved in pulling the data from the 13 worksheets into a linear format. These 30 queries are then appended together and and the data is all written to one table.

So the final worksheet contains all the data that was in the 13 original worksheets, but it is now in a linear structure. My question is will Power Query enable me to run this process in reverse so I can convert the final table back into the format of the original workbook with the 13 original worksheets?

    Thanks,
    Seán

    Office 365 Pro Plus 1708.8431.
There is nothing that would automatically reverse the process. You could build the steps in reverse, but depending on the complexity of the source iles you would likely never get it back in the same format without further manipulation outside of PQ.

Thanks very much for coming back to me Horsey

It's probably something that will be available in the future using machine learning and AI.

    thanks,
    Sean
