SUM Formula returning value as 'zero'

Could someone help please. When I use the SUM formula of a group of cells containing other formulas, it returns as a zero value.

I have attached an example and the problem lies in cell D30.

Any help would be much appreciated.

FIXED creates a text string, SUM works on numbers.

Get rid of the FIXED and concatenating " m" in the formula and use a custom of format of #,##0.00 " m" and then the SUM will work.
