Default Template

Hello,

I could use some help figuring out the new opening workbook location. I have tried to save the template but it isn't the one with the settings that I saved.

If someone has the time with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Does the macro for creating/saving the template have a path included ?

There is no macro. I am referring to when Excel opens a new workbook.

I tried putting it here:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

But it isn't opening with the settings that I configured. The file that I saved as a template is in the recent folders but I can't seem to set it up in the folder so it is the workbook settings I like when starting a new workbook.

Through trial and many attempts I finally got it to open to the correct template.
