Is there a simple way to sort a string of words that are contained in a single Excel cell?

Very possibly it can be done with Power Query. Split the cell. Unpivot the data. Sort.

Yes, but then you need to pivot again and merge columns!

TEXTJOIN will put everything back in one cell.

You don’t need TEXTJOIN. Put it all back together at the end of the query.
