excel formula(Vlookup) working on a cell which is having data in a cell which already

excel formula(Vlookup) working on a cell which is having data in a cell which already having data validation,
But its not working when i enter a formula in a blank cell which is already having data validation.. Any help on this

Hi Sujithy007,

I guess - both cell has data validation rules already set up. One cell is having a data chosen from data validation and vlookup is working here but not working on the other cell which is having blank.. correct ?
Can you upload a sample workbook ? Thanks.
