Hi All,

I am a newbie to the Forum and the VBA arena. I was hoping to get some insights on the following…..

To begin with I am not sure if this can be done, but here it goes:

I would ideally like to have a code that can help me extract urls from Google.

I have an excel sheet where Column A has 3000 names of companies and institutions. I need to append website url in column B. I understand that there could be few cases where the Google search returns multiple websites, in such case all the possible matches should be added in Column C, D and so on.

In other words,

First possible match in column B
Second possible match in column C
Third possible match in column D and so on.

Is it possible to do so? Please let me know if I am not after the right solution.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried a web search? I don't know off the top of my head, sorry.

Thanks for your relply!

I'm afraid I don't excatly understand what you mean by web search. Is it a web query or goggle seacrh you are refering to. If it is the latter, the yes, but did not yeild any concrete answer, which is why I had to request for some expert opinion here.

My first post, so sorry if the question is off:(

Thank you!

No, your question is not off :) It's just that sometimes we get people posting questions that they haven't done a google search on the particular topic. This particular topic is pretty specialised, so to look at answering it I'd have to do a google search myself. So was just checking to see what you'd turned up yourself via that method, if anything.

Thanks again:)

I am a pretty newbie as far as VBA is concerned. On Goggle search I did not find anything as close to what I am after. Unfortunately, I did not save any of the links so can't share at the moment. Can do so if you think its necessary again once I get to the system, but they might not be very handy, unless I missed something drastically:(

Replying via phone. Excuse any typos!

Thanks again. Appreciate your help!:)

Thanks, but unluckily, I can't access it. This link appears to be broken.
