I received a report with columns numbered 1 and 2 to the far left of the Excel (2010) sheet along with plus (+) and minus (-) signs next to the row numbers that can expand or collapse hidden data. I know how to access the data but what I do not know how to do is create a similar Excel sheet for my own data. I'm not sure if this has to do with Pivot Tables or VBA programming. Can someone tell me what this king of Excel sheet is and where can I find more information on using it for one of my own Excel projects? Please see attachment for clarity with my question.

Thanks Pecoflyer, this is a new area for me as an Excel user. I appreciate your quick reply and "Wizardry"!
