I have a golf team worksheet that has a drop down data validation list of opponent schools. Each time a match is played, the opponent team is selected from the list. In one cell, it shows 2 arrows when the cell is clicked on and 1 when clicked elsewhere. Both arrows show the opponent list. How can I get rid of one of them. I tried clearing the cell and entering the data validation again. Still, duplicate arrows. Help, please!

Double Arrows

Can you clear the sensitive information and upload a copy?

Thanks for the reply. I tried to copy the sheet (which is 1 of 22) to a new workbook, but it froze. Attached are 2 screenshot jpgs. The first one is without clicking in the cell. The second one shows the double arrow when the cell is clicked. Any ideas on how to get rid of the 2nd arrow?

Thanks, Don
