When I am running the Excel spreadsheet with VB macro I get the following error when running Excel 2010. However it works fine when running Excel 2007.

I can not figure out what it is trying to reference or what I am missing.

Thanks
Lino

If you go into the VBE and go to Tools-->References in Excel 2010, you'll see that one is listed as "missing". Go back to Excel 2007 and check there to see which it is. From there you should be able to select it in Excel 2010 and that should solve your issue.

Out of curiosity, is this on the same or different computers? I'm assuming different ones?

Thanks for the information. Found out that it is still trying to reference msxml.dll version 2. This is no longer being used when running on Win7 using Excel 2010, Had to copy the msxml.dll file to the System32 folder and seems to be working fine now.

Thanks
Lino

Excellent, glad you're sorted.

Weird though... normally the compatibility going forward is pretty good. Obviously not so much in the xase of the msxml libraries.
